Essential Duties & Responsibilities Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations.
Collects requirements from end users, identify feasible solution, design the solution, identify program functions and steps required to develop or modify to accommodate requirements.
Develops and deploys industry leading web technologies and applications that support business objectives. Implement products in third world countries.
Conducts studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs.
Implement software development lifecycle practices, including requirements analysis, design, coding and testing.
Develop and improves automated tools using VB. NET designed to increase productivity.
Develop stored procedures, user-defined functions, and DTS or SSIS packages.
Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
Upgrades system and maintains system after implementation.
Provides support to end-users in the, usage and maintenance of applications and hardware.
Performs computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
Participation in AHF Meetings/Committees Bi-weekly IT Department Staff Meetings Bi-monthly International Data Collection Committee Weekly Global Operations Meeting.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; either MIS related or with MIS coursework to complement degree; Minimum of three to five years Systems Analyst and Programming and Reporting experience.
Computer/Software Skills & Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of VB.Net, DBMS, SQL, SQL Server, Reporting tools, Programming and Networking
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Very High Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability Very High Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Other Skills & Abilities/Qualifications Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time including international. Must have reliable transportation. Demonstrated experience in multi-project management and tasking. Proficiency in Windows based programs including word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet software.
