AIDS Healthcare Foundation is searching for a Full Time IT Systems Analyst to work at our Administrative Office located at 6255 W. Sunset Blvd. 21st Floor, Los Angeles, California 90028. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consult with management to analyze computer system needs.
Gather requirements from end users, analyze requirements, and identify feasible solution, if needed develop or implement a solution using cutting edge technologies. Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
Be an integral part of RFP and implementation process for Pharmacy system. Install and configure pharmacy system on server. Install pharmacy system database. Work with vendor to understand the behavior of the system based on configuration and configure the system based on business needs.
Install pharmacy system client on workstations or Citrix servers. Configure external devices like POS, label printers and regular printers to work pharmacy system.
Establish a great working relationship with the vendor and pharmacy staff. Troubleshoot any technical issue related to pharmacy system. Will be ultimate go to person for any pharmacy system related issues.
Migrate data from existing pharmacy system to the new pharmacy system. Work with vendor and pharmacy staff to understand business rules and system configuration. Develop software packages to migrate data from one system to another.
Train end users on the new pharmacy system. For business rules related issues or training, coordinate training with Pharmacy Operations department or with vendor.
Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda and instructional manuals.
Upgrades system and maintains system after implementation.
Provides support to end-users in the, usage and maintenance of applications and hardware.
Performs computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.
Participation in AHF Meetings/Committees IT Department Staff Meetings IT Department Systems Group Meetings Other Meetings as assigned

Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; either MIS related or with MIS coursework to complement degree; Minimum of three to five years Systems Analyst and Programming and Reporting experience.
Computer/Software Skills & Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Object Oriented Programming like VB.Net, RDBMS, SQL, SQL Server, Reporting tools and Networking
Other Skills & Abilities/Qualifications Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time including international. Must have reliable transportation. Demonstrated experience in multi-project management and tasking. Proficiency in Windows based programs including word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet software.
