AIDS Healthcare Foundation is currently seeking a Pharmacy Sales Associate to join the pharmacy department. The territory for this position will include Orlando and Jacksonville, Florida. We offer a competitive salary, amazing benefits, and a great work environment!!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Enrollment:
·Describes and explains in detail the benefits of becoming a
client at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation Pharmacies to former, current, prospective clients and relevant referral sources
·Explains the differences to clients between AHF Pharmacies and other pharmacies.
·Acts as the pharmacy contact person and facilitator for Positive Healthcare Enrollers in the transfer of new clients to AHF Pharmacies.
·Contacts former clients and infrequent users of the AHF Pharmacies to discuss the possibility of transferring to full service at AHF Pharmacies.
·Meets individual and Bureau pharmacy growth goals.
Additional Sales Responsibilities:
·Establishes and maintains sales relationships with physicians, AIDS service organizations, community based organizations, Positive Healthcare programs management and staff and other relevant organizations.
·Represents AHF on a local and bureau wide basis to discuss the Pharmacy service program. This includes, but is not limited to community led meetings, such as Planning Council or Consortia meetings.
·Makes sale calls on a routine basis to effectively promote AHF Pharmacy services through a consultative-based sales approach.
·Represents AHF on a local and regional basis to present AHF Pharmacy services. This includes, but is not limited to community led meetings and other meetings and functions as assigned.
·Recommends changes in service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
·Actively seeks potential grants, Memorandums of Agreement and other contractual relationships with Government and private agencies.
·Maintains a presence at each of the Bureau’s regional offices.
Customer Service:
·Addresses client concerns and answers all questions related to these concerns.
·Assists AHF pharmacy managers in the resolution of provider or customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management. Helps assure all parties are satisfied with the outcome. When appropriate, reports results of interventions to the Southern Region Bureau Chief and the National Director of Pharmacy.
·Recommends changes in service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
·Assists and helps ensure the timely transfer of client medications from former pharmacy to the AHF Pharmacy.
·Follows-up with pharmacy employees and customers to help ensure exceptional customer service at the pharmacies.
·Maintains basic knowledge regarding current standards of HIV/AIDS care.
·Assists in the monitoring of the quality assurance process of the pharmacies. Provides input into the development of Pharmacy marketing and sales to the Southern Region, orientation for new employees.
Reports:
·Maintains a monthly marketing report to include daily call log and historical sales records.
·Maintains a weekly work plan.
·Maintains a database on competitors. This includes services, personnel, growth patterns and effectiveness. Submits reports to the Southern Region Bureau Chief and National Pharmacy Director as requested.
·Assists with the implementation and training of AHF pharmacy personnel on AHF customer service concepts, policies and procedures, competitors and growth possibilities.
·Helps assure that the patient and provider satisfaction surveys are completed on a timely basis and that the interventions taken as a result of the surveys are appropriate.

·Attends other AHF meetings as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
·This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
·Must manage assigned territory, with expected results.

Education and Experience
·Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·Pharmaceutical sales experience highly desirable.
Computer/Software Skills and Abilities
·To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Spreadsheet software, Word Processing Software
·Pharmacy System software, helpful.
Language Skills
·Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
·Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
·Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
·Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
·Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
·Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills, Abilities and Qualifications
·Must be able to travel up to 85% of the time and travel overnight occasionally.
·Knowledge of QS-1 Pharmacy System Software helpful.
·Ability to work with minimal supervision.
·Sensitivity to AIDS/HIV related issues and concerns.
·Ability to communicate in English, Spanish, and Creole desired.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
·Valid Drivers License with proof of liability insurance.
·Specialized Sales Certifications when required.
